A few lines about me

My name is Nick Bassett, or Bertie or even Bazz ! I am a Senior IT consultant (but as you can see, not in web design !!)and live in a small village in South Gloucestershire called Winterbourne. I live there with my wife Lin, who is a professional singer, and our three Boxer dogs Billy, Rosie and Daisy. We got the two girls through the Boxer rescue and now spend a lot of our spare time getting involved with rescues in the Bristol area.

Some sad news, we lost our dear old Billy boy on Monday 3rd March 2003. He will be fondly remembered and very very sadly missed by all who had the great privelage of knowing him. Even more sad news, our darling Rosie B couldnt bear to be without her beloved Billy, and has gone to be with him on Rainbow Bridge. April 9 2003

New Kid on the Block

Wallowing in our own grief we neglected to notice that little Daisy, the normaly bright spark of the family, had gone into a zombie-like state and had gone off her food, so we decided something had to be done, so on FA cup-final day in May 2003, Normy joined the family. He is a rescue from the Gosport area, we think around 4/5 yrs old. He has settled in wonderfully and has realy brightened up ALL our lives, especially little Daise, they are inseperable (apart from Fridays when he takes me to the local pub!)
